Peggy's Fruit Bars
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup chopped dates
1 cup chopped prunes
4 T. (pref. whole wheat) pastry flour
1 t. vanilla
¼ t. salt
1cup applesauce

Combine first three ingredients & set aside. Mix remaining ingredients together. Add this to the dried fruit mixture. Spoon into sprayed 8” X 8” pan. Bake at 325 for about 40 minutes. Cut into squares when cool. May want to experiment with other combinations of dried fruits also.
